About
About Ryan Neel, Owner of Nor Cal Legacy Builders
I grew up in a small town on the Central Coast of California. My father was a carpenter and it was with his tools that I had my first job. I was 18 months old and took apart my crib while I was supposed to be napping. It was at that point my parents realized my natural born talents, and had much insight as to my future.
In 2000 I graduated from College of the Redwoods and received my AS degree and a Certificate of Completion from the Construction Technology program. From there I began work for a small construction company in Eureka, CA. I remained there for several years working my way up from a laborer to a foreman.
In 2005 my family and I moved to Davis, CA at which point I got my General Contractors License and started my own business, Nor Cal Legacy Builders.
My Philosophy
It is my philosophy that I treat every job, no matter its size, as if I were working on my own home. I pay particular attention to detail, weather or not it will be seen. I pride myself in quality honesty and a happy home owner.
What I do
Over the years I have had my hands in EVERY aspect of the residential building process. I have created plans, poured foundations, framed many new homes, structures, and additions as well as wired, plumbed, sheet rocked, sided, tiled put in windows and finishes, painted and everything in between. Please visit the photo gallery for some examples of work I’ve done.
I love what I do and couldn’t imagine myself in any other profession. I was born to do what I do, and strive to improve my skills keeping up with the most current standards and technologies in the construction industry.
